MUSEUMS

The countless museums in Munich and Upper Bavaria invite culture enthusiasts and families to spend some time.

We have compiled a small selection here for you.

MUSEUMS IN MUNICH

Munich is one of the most significant museum venues in the German-speaking world. This, of course, includes the Pinakotheken and the Deutsche Museum as the largest museum of science and technology in the world.

But the smaller museums also enrich Munich’s cultural landscape. For example, the Bier- und Oktoberfestmuseum highlights the history of Munich’s breweries and the annual Oktoberfest.

An absolute must is the Valentin-Musäum. Here you will gain an insight into the life and work of comedian, film producer and author Karl Valentin and his wife Liesl Karlstadt.
