We are deeply saddened to announce that our senior partner Franz Inselkammer passed away on 20 September 2024 at the age of 88. Franz Inselkammer was not only the soul of our company, but also the centre of the family.
With the proverbial ‘Liberalitas Bavariae’, tireless commitment and immense passion for quality and tradition, he successfully guided the fortunes of the Ayinger family business for more than five decades.
Under his leadership, the brewery developed into one of the most respected in the region and beyond. The Brauereigasthof Aying and the Bräustüberl have been recognised as a place of authentic Bavarian hospitality for many years.
Franz Inselkammer attached great importance to sustainability and regionality, making the family business not only an economic but also a cultural part of the region.
His death is still completely incomprehensible to us and the sadness cannot be put into words. At the same time, we are infinitely grateful for the long time he was with us. It is a great comfort and an honour for us to be able to continue our business in his spirit.
